Road Traffic Data is generated by VLC using anonymised mobile device data combined with a high-quality national road network and advanced spatial processing methodologies. GPS events are grouped into trips and calibrated against observed transport agency traffic counts collected from thousands of locations across Australia to provide reliable outputs.
Foot Traffic Data uses anonymised location observations and advanced geospatial modelling techniques to estimate street-level walking activity and pedestrian movement patterns. The datasets are continuously validated and refined to support operational and strategic planning use cases.
