UX/UI Designer at GapMaps

 

A unique opportunity with global impact has become available for a UX/UI Designer to join the Technology and Data team at GapMaps. As the UX/UI Designer you will support the creation of intuitive, scalable and visually engaging experiences across out SaaS platform. This role collaborates closely with senior designers, developers, and product managers to transform complex data and workflows into clear, usable, and aesthetically consistent interfaces that reflect GapMaps’ brand standards.

 

The Role

 

• Participate in user research and usability testing.

• Gather and analyse user feedback to inform iterative improvements.

• Support the documentation of user flows and interaction patterns.

• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

• Communicate design intent clearly across cross-functional teams.

• Contribute ideas to product discussions and design critiques.

• Conduct design QA before release to maintain visual and functional integrity.

• Suggest enhancements to improve UX workflows and efficiency.

• Help maintain and evolve GapMaps’ design system.

• Stay informed on emerging design tools, accessibility standards, and UI trends.

• Participate in design reviews and share learnings with peers.

You will have

 

• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of professional UX/UI design experience in SaaS or digital products.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile design projects.

• Experience working within agile or lean product teams.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Exposure to data-driven design and testing methodologies.

• Have impeccable relationship building skills and experience working with high-touch individuals
